Oxidation, Moisture Loss, Microbial changes are the major factors to be considered while packaging yogurt. Multi-layer pouches, Injection moulded containers, thermoformed cups are the main packaging materials for yogurt packaging. Peelable lids of Aluminium/PE or thermoformed PE or injection moulded PE closure is used. Common printing processes used are Offset, Gravure.

Yogurt packaging is commonly white in colour with the graphics depicting the flavour of the yogurt. It also includes the type of the yogurt as creamy, fat content.
