Additives Packaging Design
Additives for wine making are added to protect and balance the must. Some of the examples of these additives include oak chips, grape concentrate, and many more. They are added to minimize oxidation, protect against microscopic organisms, and inhibit the growth of unwanted yeast in the wine. Moisture and prevention from external and microbial contamination are some of the considerations in packaging the product.
Additives are mostly found in flakes, grains and powder form. They can be contained in pouches, laminated cartons, plastic canisters and other plastic packaging bags. Labels contain product usage, source, ingredients, storage requirements and other details.
